'I revise existing imagery through filters of digital processing, screenshots and making reproductions by xerography. I will torture the image until a certain distance from the original is created. By removing and manipulating an image from its original context I make it my own. When the process is finished I place the ‘translation’ into a random structure of drawings or paintings.
Besides the technique the images now share the intensification of the process, anonymity and alienation. The exchangeable virtual pictures from the ‘screen’ have been brought back into the world of the handmade. Readable like maps from my hyper real world of fascination'.
