Seekee Chung creates (re-) constructions of buidlings, interiors and landscapes based upon found footage and her own memory. The models remind the viewer of a ‘show-box’ by which the help of light, perspective and depth a composed and desolate atmosphere is created. Despite the minor dimensions these models have a striking spatial and imposing effect.
